I have heard back from the Council and they have agreed with my request for the advertisements for planning applications in the Launceston and Bude areas to be extended to the Cornish and Devon Post.
Previously, the Council had decided only to advertise these applications in the Cornish Guardian. Good as the Guardian is, it lags far behind the Cornish and Devon in readership in the Launceston area and so my concern was that many people would not see planning applications that might affect them and their neighbourhoods.
