An update on the exploits of Cornishman Talan Skeel-Piggins who was competing in the alpine ski-ing events at the Paralympic games in Vancouver.Talan competed in the giant slalom and slalom. He finished a wonderful 15th in the giant slalom and 31st in the slalom. Given that Talan's world rankings are 63 and 74 respectively, they're great results.
(I'm slightly disappointed that Talan didn't make it into the round-up on BBC 2 today which was lamentably short given the attention paid to the main event and to the summer paralympics)
