Cameron at LGA conference

David Cameron took his turn in front of the councillors at the LGA conference this morning.

His speech was well received but he then faced problems during questions when he disagreed with Boris Johnson over the merits of regional assemblies (one likes them if they are elected, the other hates them in all events).

He also managed annoy some audience members by dismissing one question out of hand claiming it was being asked purely for press release purposes.

Nick Clegg is on in a bit.
